Carrie: I tried sending this thru an email but it failed. I hope you don't mind my sending it thru at comment.
I came across your blog and liked it very much. I wanted to send you the One Lovely Blog Award that was presented to me. I hope you accept this gift. The award is at my Catholic blog (below)

Here are the rules for passing it on

1. Accept the award. Post it on your blog with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2. Pay it forward to 15 other bloggers that you have newly discovered.
3. Contact those blog owners and let them know they've been chosen

Nanette,

Thank you so much for the award! I am honored and very much surprised because I haven't blogged much recently. I am still working my way through the gut-blow that life sent us this summer and I feel a little stunned by what has happened to us.

I will try very hard to get back into blogging and READ some blogs. I've been very bad about that lately. When I do, I'll be happy to accept your award and pass it along!

Thanks for the pleasant surprise.

Carrie

Eggs are one of the few things that Jim can eat. I only get groceries every two weeks, so I stock up.
